We will present the results of two our recent works at the IEEE International Conference on Information Society (iSociety 2012), which will held at the end of June in London.
In the first work, titled A Tool for Registering and Replaying Web Navigation, we present the design and preliminary experimentation of a tool we built which allows recording and then replaying navigation sequences on current web applications.
The second work, titled A Domain Knowledge-based Approach for Automatic Correction of Printed Invoices, we present a method and its experimental evaluation for detecting and possibly correcting errors in text generated by means of OCR from printed documents. The proposed approach constitutes a component of a broader system we designed for printed document understanding, part of which has been presented in A Probabilistic Approach for Printed Document Understanding.
